Hi, I have a 2004 BMW Z4, and the rain sensor, for automatic wipers, has broken. Apparently, you need to replace the whole windshield to fix this (if you know different, let me know!), so my question is... is it possible for me to claim for this under my insurance? My windshield excess is 70, but I assume that is for when the windshield is cracked or damaged etc. So, seeing as mine is not damaged, only the sensor, is there any way I can claim? How can i get a german Health Insurance from outside of germany?

I need to have Health insurance accepted in before i go there. i will be staying there. I cannot find any way to sign up for health insurance from outiside of germany.

Insurance over 20 thousand !?

I have passed me driving test about a month ago now, and since then i was trying to look for car insurance. I have 1.2 Fiat Punto 2000reg, paid 700 for it. I have tried loads of different car insurance company's online and most of them give me like quotes of 24211.84, that was Confused.com :( or they just say we couldn't provide you with one... So i was thinking could that be some kind of mistake because all my friends who just passed there test paid 3000 or less. Any advice of what could i doo, maybe i should just ring some company's ?

I was hit by an uninsured motorist, and I have an uninsured clause in my car insurance.?

My car was totaled out, and since my car insurance had a non insured motorist clause then I just have to pay the deductible, and they will cut me a check. I was hurt in the accident, and I wanted to know if my car insurance (Progressive) will also pay out pain and suffering. I am considering taking this guy to small claims court, but if I do then I have no idea what the outcome would be. IF my insurance offers me a pain and suffering settlement then should I take it? can I negoiate for a higher settlement? Everyone is telling me to take whatever is offered to me because the guy that hit my car didn't have insurance, and could possibly claim indigentcy in which case I would most likely never see the money. I can get a pain and suffering settlement from my own insurance, but I believe that the person that hit me should have to pay it, and I am also assuming that I would get more money out of him directly than letting my insurance cover the pain and suffering. This is my first wreck that I have gotten into, in which, I was the party that was damaged (almost died), and the other guy only received a ticket. I know that life is not fair, but like I said before, this is my first car wreck where I was owed money and the other person did not have insurance. Any information will be much appreciated. Brother got speeding ticket in my car, does my insurance for my car go up?

so i let my brother drive my car, and he's a pretty safe driver, however he got caught doing 69 mph on a 55 mph in north carolina. i understand that he will have to pay a fine/get points on his license. will the insurance on my car be affected? my brother is actually not listed as one of the drivers in the insurance (my mom and i are listed as the main drivers- both of which have never gotten a ticket/motor offense).
